The mental health benefits of learning self-defense include:

The self-defense system I teach is Martial Blade Concepts (MBC), founded by Michael Janich. It is by far the most simplecomprehensive, and devastating combative system I’ve had the pleasure of learning and anyone can learn it.

To that end, MBC focuses on bio-mechanical targeting, otherwise known as “stopping power,” which is the ability to stop an attack immediately and repeatedly to prevent further harm to you or others.

WHAT IF I DON’T CARRY A KNIFE?

Just because you don’t carry a knife doesn’t mean you’ll never get attacked by one. Moreover, MBC’s sister component Counter Blade Concepts (CBC) offers just that: an empty hand version to counter edged and contact distance weapon attacks.
